You will get the certificate at the territorially competent Polish consular office.

Remember that after receiving a certificate authorizing the transport of weapons and municipalities through the territory of the Republic of Poland, you will be required to present this document to the Border Guard authorities in order to obtain a stamp confirming the crossing of the border.

Remember that the requirement to have a certificate does not apply to nationals of European Union Member States who hold the European Firearms Card.

You can submit the documents in person or through a representative.

Make an appointment via the e-konsulat system / by phone at (+221) 33 859 57 70.

Prepare:

  • identification ,
  • a document entitling to possess a weapon,
  • weapons information card,
  • information on the amount of transported ammunition, type and design of the cartridge.

Inform the consul about the declared date of entry into the territory of the Republic of Poland and the date of departure and the places where you will cross the border. 

The fee is 60 EUR.

The consul issues certificates without undue delay, not later than within 14 days from the date of submitting the application.

Personally. You can also apply for documents to be delivered by post if you cover the cost of the postage.

In the event of refusal to perform the action, the consul will issue a decision against which you can lodge a complaint with the Minister of Foreign Affairs within 7 days. The complaint is submitted through the consul who issued the decision.
